Yesterday we had a very special visit from Officer Grisso! He discussed:

• Why it's important to know your address and phone number
• When to call 911
• Why they should always where a helmet
• The different parts of his uniform
• Why we don't talk to strangers

Ask your Kindergartner if they remember why police officers are important to our community.

Cooperation

Today we discussed what the word "cooperation" and what it looks like at home and at school. Ask your Kindergartner if they can show you what cooperation looks like at your house!

Past and Present

Today in class we read Ox-Cart Man. We compared our lives now with the lives of families in the past. Discuss with your child how things have changed to make our lives easier.
