I've been meaning to start putting some classic K1 quotes on the blog but keep forgetting! Here's two from today:

Me: What are you doing this long weekend?
Student: Well, I think I might make things and sell them.
Me: Like lemonade?
Student: No, Barbie hair.
Me: (deep thinking face)
Student: You know I need to sell things to make money and ink.
Me: Ink??
Student: Ya, like for my color printer.
Me: Ohhhhh, I see...

Me: Oh no, what happened?
Student: It got hurt in the storm.
Me: Really? How did that happen?
Student: You know from the hail.
Me: Wow! Hail came all the way from outside and damaged your chandelier??
Student: (thinking hard)
Me: (thinking, too) Wait...do you mean shingles??
Student: Ohhhh ya! Shingles!!
