Nature Park: Part 1

Searching for oyster fossils after we learned that the very ground we were standing one was an ocean floor 92 million years ago. 

On our way to have lunch...they acted like they hadn't eaten in 2 weeks! :)

What's all the fuss about??

Oh just some ladybugs we found today at recess. Few things are more fun than finding and learning about these little insects! Happy SPRING!

Ladybug Mania

We are finishing up our study of Ladybird Beatles and other insects. Last year at this time, we couldn't walk outside without finding a million ladybugs! This year, we've only found ONE! But we love her so...she even has a name...Laura the Ladybug.
