Motion and Magnets

This week in Science we learned about MOTION (see pictures) and we classified the way objects move. Their ideas were AMAZING!

We also explored magnets and documented in our science journals what things in our classroom are magnetic and not magnetic. 

Carnival Outing

I had a wonderful time yesterday with these two sweet Kindergartners! I was so excited to have an hour with them enjoying yogurt, playing games, talking, and laughing! Thank you mom and dad for supporting our amazing PTO!

Math lately

We are wrapping up our study on addition and subtraction. We also discussed measurement and comparing the mass and weight of objects. 

Here they are using their rock (from home) to see how many bears it takes to equal their rock! 

 Some had a few more than others...

I had the best (and the cutest) helpers this afternoon help make our GREEN eggs and ham. Even though some were reluctant about trying the odd colored scramble, they were ALL very enthusiastic about helping mix! Sorry these aren't the worlds best photos but what's not pictured is their crazy teacher covered in egg and blue food dye :)
