Fire Clowns
On Tuesday we had a visit from our favorite clowns! These clowns who moonlight as firefighters :) came to teach us some very important things like: when to call 911, stay low and always have a meeting spot outside your house in case of a fire, and ABC (always be calm),

A few K1 "firsts"
We collaborated on our first "flow map" of the four seasons.
We had our first Mystery Reader who read us Cat in the Hat.
The field is officially OPEN!
We went to our first Spirit Assembly and found out who our "Citizen of the Month" was for K1!
Got a visit from the Longhorn!

By Land and Sea
Today we welcomed some new "friends" to K1! Meet our goldfish, guppies, land snails and pill bugs (not pictured). We will be learning more about these animals in the weeks to come but today we just used our sense of sight to observe these interesting creatures.

National Playdoh Day
I'm not sure how I MISSED national Play-doh day yesterday! I'm making up for it today with these creative kids building and creating!
